What is Trauma Resolution Therapy?
Interview with Michael Gurevich, MD

Issue #229

Western Meadow Lark

Does trauma play a role in psychiatric disorders?

A 2022 study on The impact of childhood trauma and daily life experiences on emotional and psychotic symptom intensity in psychosis: An experience sampling study (1) adds evidence to the obvious: yes it does.

The article states:
"Our study demonstrates the negative impact of childhood trauma, especially emotional maltreatment, on daily stress and emotional and psychotic intensity in psychotic patients via different daily experiences."

If trauma contributes to psychiatric disorders, then it's imperative that psychiatrists learn how to heal and prevent the negative impact of emotional traumas that contribute to severe psychiatric disorders.

Thankfully, there are many rapid, easy ways to heal from traumatic experiences, especially through energy medicine. But, today, Michael Gurevich, MD, my friend and colleague in holistic psychiatry, practicing in Long Island, New York, will share a unique approach to resolving traumas. Click on the podcast below to learn all about Trauma Resolution Therapy. Enjoy!

By the way, I am back at my Lehi, Utah office for those who are interested in scheduling an office appointment with me.
