1) Treatment begins when an individual has reviewed my website and has found the information to be in alignment with his or her personal beliefs and desires in mental health treatment.
2) A health history is obtained. This is usually done by phone. I will gather and type out the history during the initial phone appointment (A cost-effective way to minimize clinical time used for typing out the history, is to fill out the form called Patient Profile Form and e-mail the information to me prior to the phone appointment.) This form is located under the Contents section of this website. The initial phone appointment allows me to gather psychiatric history, gain an understanding of the underlying issues, and answer any remaining questions about treatment. A typed report of the health history will be made available to the patient.
3) An analysis of the individual’s physical and biochemical state of health is done using energy medicine techniques prior to the intake appointment. This will help access important information about the patient’s overall health and functioning. The cost is $150.00/half hour and is not covered by insurance.
4) A DVD tutorial on energy medicine will be mailed to the individual prior to the intake appointment to minimize the amount of time needed to teach about energy medicine during the first appointment. The cost is $75.00, plus $4.50 tax if you live in Maryland, and $5.00 shipping/handling charge. Viewing the tutorial will help the patient understand the clinical usefulness of applying energy medicine to facilitate healing.
5) An intake appointment is scheduled (generally lasting 2.5 hours, shorter duration for younger individuals). During the appointment the following occur: a) brief demonstration about energy medicine and its principles, c) reviewing the results of the Analysis, d) energy healing work, e) setting up an initial nutritional regimen if necessary.
6) Weekly follow up sessions (1.5 hours duration). Generally, the first two follow up sessions will be approximately 2 hours long to accommodate for teaching new energy medicine techniques.
