I am a 52 year-old woman who had been plagued with depression and had not been getting proper treatment from traditional doctors during three episodes in my lifetime. My last episode occurred June, 2006, and I was immediately prescribed an anti-psychotic medication by my internist. Subsequently, I was referred to a psychiatrist who increased the anti-psychotic dosage each week until I was stabilized.
